nothing gold can stay.

hello sunday. boy, you take aggggges to come around and then when you're here, you go way too fast. a little bit of sleeping in, eggs and bacon breakfasting, copious amounts of tea, series one of love my way, skyping, baking (monte carlos...again!) and artwork planning was on the menu today. i snapped a few pretty things on my travels (read: whilst doing chores and boiling the kettle) and even managed to fit in 5 minutes of thrifting yesterday whilst on route to coles. have missed it. am itching to get to england to see my nanny kit, who isn't in the best of health at the moment and with a best friend leaving for london indefinately next monday...i'm trying to stay positive for two of my most favourite women. i've changed my idea for the group exhibition in august too...now involves a WHOLE lot of cross stitching and cake plate gathering (YAY!) so i've gotta get moving. tonight i'll be on my way. i won't be doing rummage next weekend as planned as i'll be spending the day with my bestest, which includes coffee and baked treats at vintage espresso, dinner at our favourite sushi place and lots of chats and hugs. will be dedicating a special post to her next monday, so get the tissues ready (note to self). i hope you've had a beautiful weekend, a few exciting things are in the pipeline at kit & nancy over the next few weeks so stay tuned and have a wonderful week. much love.

new tapestry love. reminds me of my toboganning behaviour in the alps.

sleeping in and unmade bed behaviour. waking up to vintage wallpaper is something i adore.

pretty flowers and monte carlos cooling.

i do miss my jam tarts. studio wall inspired me today.

writing love letters and boiling the kettle (approx 6 times today)

studio floor has my work in progress.

beautiful morning and afternoon clouds. for you mama.

I always forget how much I like your blog. Gorgeous.

I love that Frost poem. They quote it in one of my favourite books too, 'The Outsiders'.
