it's not superbowl sunday!

of course it isn't superbowl sunday. post title is the result of my 24/7 addiction to satc. it's nothing new but it has become pretty serious. no wonder i'm not out on a friday night meeting young single gentlemen...i'm watching miranda eat cake out of the bin and aidan...beautiful aidan. i am of course making artwork whilst this is all happening...it's my favourite kind of background noise when i'm creating. (samantha having crazy sex? not quite, but you get the idea) i do have a monday-friday job so it's not an all day everyday affair. i have started using their lines in my everyday conversations however. now, talking like samantha COULD work for me in landing a fella....hmmm. in other news, i've been pricing goodies for the rummage tomorrow, getting kit fixed (finally!!!) and eating lemon slice (thanks to my favourite gallery boy) with mugs of milky tea. lovely saturday behaviour. i thought i would show you a couple of treats i purchased last week from the lovely kimberly. she is an absolute fiend for vintage goodies and the best thing about her is that she shares her treats! this is always good for fabric/staffordshire potteries/teapot fiends like me. not so good for my bank balance but she does sell her goods at VERY reasonable prices and i have been very well behaved lately (whatever). i've got lots of art to make so i'm going to get a wriggle on to try and justify my place in the exhibition...haha, seriously...i bought a dress for opening night before i had even started making any works. looking forward to sharing them with you. i'm getting very excited. hope i get to see a few of you tomorrow, will be a lovely day with my girls (the ones not in europe anyway.) have a beautiful sunday!

possibly the sweetest thing ever in teapot world.

to adding more staffordshire potteries to the collection...laura says yes.

I LOVE SATC TOO!!!! I have the whole boxset - we can definitely have awesome conversations using lines from the episodes! I love the one where Miranda eats out of the bin! And she calls Carrie to tell her to contact her in the Betty Crocker Clinic hahahaha.

Love those his and hers tea cups!!!

Oh that pottery is just gorgeous! My boyfriend just bought me a lovely new mug from a local Brunswick pottery artist. I'm a bit in love with it. I understand the purchase of the opening night dress first completely! xx
