be optimistic.

sad times in queensland right now. my beautiful home has been evacuated as of yesterday, everything is up on tables and my fingers are crossed that it escapes the flood waters. doesn't look promising but i am safe (with a suitcase of clothes, a tub of nanna's teacups and my beloved copy of 'spaces') and i'm up on higher ground (staying at my sister's place being very well looked after) and am feeling optimistic. the rspca has successfully been evacuated and spirits seem to be a little higher, if only for today whilst the sun is shining. my heart goes out to those who have lost everything. the support has been incredible, keep up the great work and we'll get through this together. stay safe and dry, much love. xo

I'm sorry to hear you've been evacuated, Laura. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you. Work is actually looking not too good right now, but apparently the art is safe. :)

Laura, my thoughts are with you. I have seen the images on the tv and they are unbelievable to watch.
I hope that everything goes well for you and your loved ones. Much love, Emma x
