cake face.

i'm sitting here on this chilly sunday evening hugging a big mug of tea and filling the remainder of the space in my belly with a scone. seems harmless at first...but if i tell you i hosted a cake party this afternoon with a selection of my favourite treats & favourite girls and fed my face till i got a sugar headache (summer berry cider probably didn't help either)...would you judge me? take a peek at the photos below and you'll see why i've been a total cake face today. the weather was beeeeautiful and the company delicious. there were puppies, new mamas and even babies. perfection. can't say the photos are that brilliant but who wants to stand around taking pictures of something this tempting? whoopie pies were a hit so i'll post a 'how to' demo later in the week (with professional photos, woo!) have a great week lovelies.

the food table. nanna's teacups and pot of creme brulee had their own table, of course.

lots of beautiful flowers (thanks girls) and pretty pink clouds. (gf vanilla cookies)

carrot cake whoopie pies with orange cream cheese filling and strawberry & vanilla friands.

mini teapot cookies (gluten free and gorgeous!)

just one of the cutest guests to grace the party today. her brother came adorned with a homemade bow tie. bless!

How absolutely gorgeous! you have a wonderful way with presenting! I had my own fairy party with 18 x 6 yr olds, the ideas were there, but the presentation was nothing like yours. I nearly died when I saw my older girls had put out the rainbow jelly cups on the baking trays with foil on them! oops! have a good week, Michelle xx

I'm looking forward to your little Whoopie Pie how to Laura, I want to see what all the fuss is about(keep hearing about them, but haven't eaten one yet) and learn how to make me my own Whoopie!

It all looks so delicious cupcake!! Gosh i wish I had just come and had cider and cakes and NOT played hockey because then I would just be full of cake rather than in bed with a bung knee and crutches by my side! Glad everyone had such an amazing time and I can't wait for that whoopie pie demo!!

Hello lovely miss!! It looks FABULOUSLY YUMMO!! I have already ordered my cookie cutters online - but thank you so so so much for the offer. T2 has just opened in a couple of places of here in WA and I have a trip there planned in a couple of weeks with my mumma to get myself a rainbow assortment of tea-wares. VERY excited., Looking at your table laden with sweet stuff made me realise that I have something I would like to give to you - is a surprise though - so if you could email me your postage address (if you want too - I promise i am not a psycho)THANKS!!! bec x
