have your cake...

wow...so this is what 4 hours sleep feels like? there's been no regular behaviour happening in my world at the moment..i'm definately channelling the life of an artist. i've forgotten what that felt like. i feel like i have an art baby that needs nurturing and constant attention, and to be honest, i'm exhausted. how will i ever cope as a mother?? an afternoon tea break at lady m's was my saviour today. i needed the sugar hit and the triple shot latte should keep me rockin' for a few hours yet. so many ideas, so little time. obviously. haven't done any wallpapering yet, will save that for tomorrow night...i need to get prepared. hope my mitre 10 splurge on thursday night pays off. it's taken me about 20 mins to write this, can anyway say procrastination? i better get back to it. those florals won't cross stitch themselves and after covering a good pair of lazy pants in everything from glue, paint and even brownie batter...i can see myself making good progress. love and luck for the week ahead (i'll borrow a bit of that if you don't mind!) xx

can anyone say triple stacked brownie sandwich?

i'm not sure if i'm loving the brownie or the pink floral more....

That amazing cake and that gorgeous sheet are a match made in heaven. I think you should scan that sheet and print some copies off to make cake boxes out of. Actually on second thoughts, could you do a prize giveaway of one of these cakes in the vintage sheet cake boxes? melx

Hello,

I fell upon your blog thanks to Emma, from "my little nutmegs" and I can tell you this:
1. You make me want to wear vintage again: those fabrics and dresses and all... addictive!
2. You make me want to bake and eat: I share your love with baking and making things look nice.

What a lovely blog.

Feel welcome to come and visit me!
