lately it's been all about family. after returning from a fun packed weekend in london last week it was back to reality in rotterdam for about a minute and a half before it was time for round two - holland style. we're a crazy bunch planted all around the world so mum & dad left the shores of san francisco and my sister took a week off from eating macarons and burying her head in french textbooks to give wearing clogs and eating hagelslag a go. i had no doubt in my mind that they would love this country. i insisted on taking them to some of my favourite places so my reliable tour guide  and i set off to give them a short but sweet taste of this beautiful city. some long overdue family fun ensued. ps. miss you already!

we visited the rather overcast but beautiful delft.

got our floral/bike/pretty building fix whilst there.

nothing like a field of blue tulips to brighten up the train station.
love this city.

brunch at my favourite, 'picknick'.

some windmill watching happened soon after.

showing off our awesome city architecture.

these guys impressed all.

i laughed so hard i thought my chest was going to burst. first time on a water taxi aka the closest thing to a rollercoaster on water.
these guys!

 biking in the sunshine.

an icecream fix at the beautiful kralingse plas.

more biking adventures with my favourites.
