good afternoon lovelies. what a beautiful day it is in brisbane. popped along to chandler markets this morning for a quick wander and found some treats. met two beautiful sisters who were selling a few of their mother's belongings as apparently she has far too much stuff for an 80yr old! everything that was from their mum's house was marked with 'mum', made me smile. i'm having a nice day doing some washing and pottering around the house. off to my sister's for afternoon tea later and as it was a hectic day of baking yesterday, it's nice to be moving at a slower pace today. isn't that what sunday's are all about?

Lovely, lovely! What a great treasure hunter you are xo
Hi Laura, it's me again!
Thank-you for stopping by my blog. I would love to do a commissioned Pear Pillow just for you. Just email me when you get back from your trip and we can organise it. How fun! The Red Hill Fair was good. I think people were there more for the food and rides rather than for the markets. But all round it was a lovely day chatting to other crafty folk and enjoying the sunny weather. Hope your Sunday is lovely. xo
that teatowel in the middle, with the brown accents, is looking very stylish, as do those vases...!
your sunday sounds superb. enjoy it. :)
The hanky in the embroidery hoop looks great!
That barkcloth is amazing!
And i love what you have done , putting the fabric in the embroidery hoop!!
Oooooh, Love the barkcloth! In all my time thrifting I am yet to find any barkcloth. It is top of my list of things to look out for but it is none existent in these parts.
x
Love the sweet vases/candle holders. You have such a good eye Laura. Happy Monday. Michelle
Absolutely love it all!! Such quality and those prints... to die for. Pruxxx
ladies, your comments make my week! thank you. x
Hey Laura,
No thrifting plans for this weekend. Am busily preparing for the first Valley Laneway Markets this Sunday. I would have loved to have come to Rummage. I will make it one day.....I hope! Have a happy day. x
Hey (again) Laura, just wanted to wish you luck for Sunday. We are going to Noosa so won't be able to pop into Rummage. Have to see you at the next one! Michelle
Strange question but were they the one's selling the camels?
they were selling the tupperware and the 50's glass. a cute little clothes rack of $1 dresses too! they're right next to the washing machines in the front corner. total cuteness.
