french fancy.

this is going to be a bit of a jumbled post of sorts. i have

pretty things to show you, some weekly happenings and some paris

love to share. it is the most beautiful sunny

saturday afternoon. the pear ciders are chilling in the fridge

ready for dinner at ash's tonight and i'm writing to you on the

front verandah of my very peaceful halfway house (aka sister's

house.) i've thrifted, spring cleaned and written lots of love

letters and it's not even 5pm. this week flights and

accommodation in paris were booked with 2 favourites, i was

approved for a house and was late to work twice. that last one

isn't quite in keeping with the other awesome news but made me

giggle all the same. i'm counting down the days until we get the

keys and i can snap photos of ever corner of that place. i am

THAT excited. the sound of the entire street's mowing

efforts has suddenly quietened. it's nearly cider'o'clock in my

city, i hope you have a beautiful rest of the evening and don't

mind me nosying around your spaces for a while. happy days. x

pyrex and johnson finds found during the week.

today's thrifting efforts.

some retro linen, patterns and cuteness found today.

midweek love in the mail.

washing day prettiness. cannot get enough of this print.

I had a successful week opshopping too, and today, I found my brother a wonderful pair of brogues for his school musical and we agreed he must wear them to his semi-formal too.

Can't wait to see this house!

Yay to you, a new home. It's the best feeling getting approved for a place that you want.
Your thrifting efforts for the week are impressive. All the lovely Johnson, and pink floral vintage sheets, you cant go wrong there.

It's a couple past cider o'clock here and that post is all jumbled around in my brain. So I'll just say that the finds, the Paris and the new house sound just fabulous. I'm super happy for you. But that navy fabric with the red and white flowers is the best! LOVE!

Oh, I love the linen and the pyrex! That blue and white daisy print is adorable. What will you make with it? I would probably hoard it. Haha!
